DAY 01:
Arrive in Cairo, Egypt's bustling capital, where your adventure begins. As evening falls, take a leisurely walk through the lively downtown streets, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy the flavors of Egypt as you sample delicious local dishes, giving you a taste of the rich culinary culture that awaits you throughout your journey.
DAY 02:
In the morning, we’ll set out for Dahshur to explore the Red Pyramid, where you can even venture inside this ancient marvel. Next, we’ll head to the Royal Museum of Egypt, where you can marvel at well-preserved mummies and artifacts from the past. As evening approaches, we’ll immerse ourselves in Cairo’s rich history and culture with a visit to the stunning Al-Azhar Mosque and a stroll through the bustling Khan El-Khalili market, where you can experience the lively atmosphere and perhaps pick up a unique souvenir.
DAY 03:
In the morning, we'll journey to the Giza Necropolis to marvel at the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. We’ll also visit the Papyrus Institute to learn about this ancient writing system. After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, we'll head to Alexandria in the late afternoon, where new adventures and historic wonders await.
DAY 04:
In Alexandria, our day begins with a tour of the intriguing Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the ancient Roman theater, offering a glimpse into the city’s rich past. After a delightful lunch, we’ll explore the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, home to one of the world’s largest collections of ancient books and art. As the day winds down, we’ll visit the impressive Citadel of Qaitbay, where you can take in stunning views and imagine the history that once unfolded within its walls.
DAY 05:
We’ll start our day with an early morning journey to Siwa, arriving just in time to rest and recharge. In the afternoon, we’ll set out on an exciting desert safari, where you’ll experience the thrill of driving over the majestic sand dunes. Enjoy a relaxing coffee break amid the endless sea of sand before settling down for a memorable evening under the stars, complete with a delicious dinner and a cozy campfire.
DAY 06:
We’ll start our day with a sunrise visit to the Mountain of the Dead, a peaceful spot offering stunning views (and definitely not as spooky as it sounds). After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we’ll unwind at the salt lakes of Siwa, where the high salt content lets you float effortlessly in the serene waters. Later in the afternoon, explore the local market of Siwa, perfect for picking up unique desert products and souvenirs. As the day comes to a close, we’ll board an overnight bus back to Cairo, ready to continue our adventure.
DAY 07:
We’ll catch a morning flight from Cairo to Luxor, the gateway to the ancient city of Thebes. Once there, we’ll spend the day exploring the East Bank, visiting the majestic Karnak Temple and the grand Luxor Temple. Each site offers a captivating glimpse into Egypt’s rich history and architectural marvels.
DAY 08:
In the early morning, we’ll take to the skies on a breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon ride, offering stunning views over Luxor’s ancient landscape. Later, we’ll delve into the West Bank, exploring the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were laid to rest, and Medinet Habu, known for its impressive temple. After a day full of exploration and wonder, we’ll board an overnight bus back to Cairo, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences.
DAY 09:
Reach Cairo at 8am. You can board the return flight or spend another day in Cairo.
