Day 1 | Journey Begins 

Board 12619 Matsyagandha Express from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai.

Relax and enjoy the scenic Konkan Railway journey as you head towards the lush landscapes of Karnataka.


Day 2 | Heritage, Nature & Waterfalls

  • 06:00 AM – Arrive at Udupi Railway Station and drive to Manipal.

  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast.

  • Explore the fascinating Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum, showcasing traditional architecture and cultural heritage of Karnataka.

  • Visit the serene Varanga Jain Temple, surrounded by tranquil waters.

    • Dress Code: Shorts and sleeveless clothing are not permitted.

  • Enjoy a local lunch.

  • Visit the breathtaking Koodlutheertha Falls(if time permits), a hidden gem nestled amidst dense forests. Take in the beauty of this majestic waterfall and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 3 | Fort Trek, Scenic Views & Spiritual Bliss

  • Enjoy an early breakfast and check out.

  • Trek to Kavaledurga (Kale Durga) Fort, one of Karnataka's most spectacular hill forts.

    • Trek Duration: Approximately 1 hour one way.

  • Visit the panoramic Kundadri Hills Viewpoint, famous for its breathtaking Western Ghats vistas.

  • Drive to Sringeri, check in, and enjoy lunch.

  • Visit the revered Sringeri Sharada Peetham and the magnificent Adi Shankaracharya Statue, one of India's most important spiritual centres.

    • Dress Code: Traditional attire is mandatory. Ladies are required to wear traditional dress with a dupatta. Shorts and sleeveless outfits are not permitted.

  • Enjoy dinner.

  • Overnight stay in Sringeri.


Day 4 | Waterfalls & Departure

  • Enjoy an early breakfast and check out.

  • Visit the refreshing Sirimane Falls and experience a natural shower amidst the lush greenery.

  • Freshen up and change into dry clothes.

  • Drive to Udupi.

  • Enjoy a delicious lunch before departure.

  • Drop at Udupi Railway Station for your return journey

We provide vegetarian food. There will be an additional charge for non-vegetarian food. The day 2, when we are in Sringeri, there will be no non-vegetarian option available.

Railway Ticket Rules and Regulations

  • We at T Trikon, Provide some of our tour packages with Train Tickets. We Use official Agent portals of IRCTC to book tickets. All the rules regarding Booking and Refund are governed by IRCTC only.
  • As per rules bookings for the respective dates open 60 days in Advance, In order to get confirmed tickets it is advised to book your seat as early as possible.
  • If Tickets are In RAC or Waitlist, We use previous data and some IRCTC partner apps to predict the confirmation chances and book accordingly.
  • We cannot guarantee any Specific seats or Berths (Like Window seat or lower berth) since Seats are allotted by IRCTC algorithm and we have no control over it.
  • If you are keen on having specific seats or berths, make sure to book well in Advance.
  • Different PNRs may have seats located in Different coaches as per IRCTC Algorithm and we cannot guarantee all seats together in case of bigger group.
  • For Bookings done after tickets are heavily waitlisted; to get confirmed seats we will book seats in Tatkal or Premium Tatkal Quota. In such case you’ll have to pay additional amount at actuals with agent charges.

Yes. This trip is suitable for beginners with a basic level of fitness. The Kavaledurga Fort trek is approximately 1 hour one way and is manageable for first-time trekkers.

2. What is the best time to visit Agumbe?

Agumbe is beautiful throughout the year. During the monsoon, you'll experience lush greenery and flowing waterfalls, while the post-monsoon and winter months offer pleasant weather and clearer views.

3. Is mobile network available throughout the trip?

Mobile connectivity may be limited in parts of Agumbe and near forest areas. Major networks usually work in towns like Udupi and Sringeri.

4. Can solo travellers join this trip?

Absolutely. Solo travellers are welcome and will be accommodated on a sharing basis with participants of the same gender whenever possible.

5. What type of accommodation is provided?

Non-AC accommodation is provided on a triple/quad-sharing basis at comfortable stays in Agumbe and Sringeri.

6. What meals are included in the package?

The package includes:

Lunches, train food, and beverages are not included.

7. Is vegetarian food available?

8. Is there a dress code for temple visits?

Yes. Traditional attire is mandatory while visiting Sringeri Sharada Peetham. Women should wear traditional clothing with a dupatta. Shorts and sleeveless outfits are not permitted. At Varanga Jain Temple, shorts and sleeveless clothing are also not allowed.

9. Will we be able to swim at the waterfalls?

You can enjoy the waterfalls and natural showers where permitted, but swimming depends on water levels, local regulations, and your tour leader's instructions.

10. Is the itinerary fixed?

The itinerary may be adjusted slightly based on weather conditions, road conditions, crowd levels, or operational requirements to ensure the best possible experience.

11. Are washroom and changing facilities available at the waterfalls?

Basic changing facilities may be available at some locations, but they cannot be guaranteed. Carry an extra set of clothes and a towel.

12. What happens in case of heavy rain?

Agumbe receives heavy rainfall, especially during the monsoon. The tour leader may modify or skip certain activities if weather conditions make them unsafe.
