About Sambhaji Nagar
Since the earliest times Sambhaji Nagar played a vital role in shaping the history and culture of the region. It was the centre of intense socio-political activities, the Set of learning, the seat of religious movements. During its long and undeterred course of history it has contributed in the filed of art, architecture, sculpture, paintings, dress and ornaments, food dishes and language etc. Centers like Paithan, Devgiri, Sambhaji Nagar, Ajanta, Ellora attracted large number of saints, poets, men and literature and artisans from all over the country. Hence, it remained a meeting place of different life-styles including faiths. Therefore the district holds the visitors spellbound with its ancient and medieval charms.

Day 1:
On the first day, we will freshen up and have breakfast on the way to Ajanta Caves, where we will explore the ancient Buddhist paintings and sculptures. After lunch, we will travel to Sambhaji Nagar and visit Bibi ka Maqbara, a replica of the Taj Mahal. We will check into the hotel and enjoy some shopping time before dinner and night stay.
Day 2:
On the second day, we will wake up early and have breakfast and tea. We will then visit Daulatabad/Devgiri Fort, a 14th-century fortress that was once the capital of the Tughlaq dynasty. After lunch, we will move to Paithan, a town famous for its silk sarees and the birthplace of the saint-poet Dnyaneshwar. We will visit the Saint Dnyaneshwar Garden and Jaikwadi Dam, which are scenic attractions in the area. We will reach Sambhaji Nagar by evening and have dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 3
On the third and final day, we will wake up early and freshen up. We will have breakfast and tea and then visit Bhadra Maruti Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman in a reclining posture. We will also visit Ghrishneshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. We will then visit Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases the rock-cut architecture of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. We will have lunch at Ellora and then start our return journey to Mumbai. We will reach Mumbai by late night.
