Karnataka Coastal Tour - Monsoon Special

Begin with a trek through the lush forests to the magnificent Yana Caves, renowned for their towering black limestone rock formations and ancient temple. Step back in time at the historic Mirjan Fort, and witness the majestic Jog Falls, one of India's tallest and most spectacular waterfalls. Continue your adventure with a visit to the tranquil Apsarkonda Waterfall, followed by a peaceful walk through the Honnavar Mangrove Boardwalk and the pristine Eco Beach. Experience the spiritual grandeur of the iconic Murudeshwar Temple, home to one of the world's tallest statues of Lord Shiva, and unwind at the picturesque Murudeshwar Beach. Finally, explore the sacred town of Gokarna, seek blessings at the revered Mahabaleshwar Temple (Mukhadarshan), and stroll through the vibrant local market, making this tour a perfect blend of adventure, culture, spirituality, and coastal beauty.
Day 0 – Train Journey
Board 12619 – Matsyagandha Express from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT).

Overnight train journey towards Kumta.
Day 1 – Explore Yana Caves & Jog Falls
- Arrive at Kumta early in the morning and freshen up at the railway station.
- Proceed towards Yana Caves, enjoying breakfast en route.
- Reach the base village and begin a scenic hike through the lush forest to explore the unique limestone rock formations and the ancient temple.
- Later, visit the historic Mirjan Fort, followed by lunch nearby.
- In the afternoon, drive to Jog Falls and check in to the hotel.
- Visit Jog Falls in the evening to witness one of India's tallest waterfalls.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Honnavar Sightseeing & Murudeshwar
- Good morning! Freshen up and enjoy breakfast with tea/coffee.
- Check out from the hotel and visit the beautiful Apsarkonda Waterfall.
- Continue to explore the Honnavar Mangrove Boardwalk and Eco Beach, with lunch during the journey.
- Later, proceed towards Murudeshwar and check in to the hotel.
- Spend some relaxing time at Murudeshwar Beach before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay
Day 3 - Explore Gokarna
- Begin the day with an early morning darshan at the Murudeshwar Temple.
- Return for breakfast, check out from the hotel, and drive to Gokarna.
- Visit the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple for Mukhadarshan.
- Explore the local Gokarna Market. Enjoy lunch at a nearby place.
- Later, proceed to Gokarna Railway Station and board 12620 – Matsyagandha Express for your overnight journey back home.
Day 4 – Arrival Back Home
Arrive at your respective destinations:
- Panvel: 05:15 AM
- Thane: 06:00 AM
- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT): 06:35 AM
The tour concludes with wonderful memories of Karnataka's waterfalls, caves, temples and beaches. Have a safe journey home!

Participants are requested to fresh up in train only on day 1, As we will directly head towards Yana caves from the station and check-in later in the evening.

Railway Ticket Rules and Regulations
- We at T Trikon, Provide some of our tour packages with Train Tickets. We Use official Agent portals of IRCTC to book tickets. All the rules regarding Booking and Refund are governed by IRCTC only.
- As per rules bookings for the respective dates open 60 days in Advance, In order to get confirmed tickets it is advised to book your seat as early as possible.
- If Tickets are In RAC or Waitlist, We use previous data and some IRCTC partner apps to predict the confirmation chances and book accordingly.
- We cannot guarantee any Specific seats or Berths (Like Window seat or lower berth) since Seats are allotted by IRCTC algorithm and we have no control over it.
- If you are keen on having specific seats or berths, make sure to book well in Advance.
- Different PNRs may have seats located in Different coaches as per IRCTC Algorithm and we cannot guarantee all seats together in case of bigger group.
- For Bookings done after tickets are heavily waitlisted; to get confirmed seats we will book seats in Tatkal or Premium Tatkal Quota. In such case you’ll have to pay additional amount at actuals with agent charges.
