Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, previously Model Floriculture Center, is a tulip garden in Srinagar, India. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread vastly over an area of about 30 hectares. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake. Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Meet the Trikon Team at Srinagar Airport around 12 pm and will move to oour hotel. After a quick check-in, you will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city at your own pace. The evening is reserved for a relaxing Shikara ride on the iconic Dal Lake, surrounded by the stunning Zabarwan Mountains.
Day 2: Srinagar city tour
Start the day with a delicious breakfast and gear up for a full day city tour of Srinagar. Visit the Mughal Gardens of Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, and take a stroll through the vibrant markets of Srinagar. The afternoon is reserved for a visit to the famous Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in Srinagar, followed by a trip to the ancient Shankaracharya Temple.
Day 3: Drive to Gulmarg
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to Gulmarg, one of the most popular ski destinations in India. On arrival, explore the charming meadows, the famous Golf Course and take a scenic cable car ride to the top of Apharwat peak.
Day 4: Drive to Pahalgam
After breakfast, continue your journey to the beautiful town of Pahalgam. On arrival, you will have the day to explore the town and its surroundings. Take a leisurely walk along the river Lidder, go for a horse ride to nearby streams and waterfalls, or simply relax and take in the breathtaking views.
Day 5: Trek to Aru Valley
Get ready for an adventure today as we embark on a trek to the stunning Aru Valley. The trek offers breathtaking views of the lush forests, snow-capped peaks, and crystal-clear streams.
Day 6: Drive to Srinagar
After a leisurely breakfast, return to Srinagar for your final night in the valley. The evening is reserved for a visit to the famous handicrafts market of Srinagar, where you can shop for local souvenirs and textiles.
Day 7: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, bid farewell to the valley as you depart from Srinagar, with memories of a lifetime.
