Right from lush green forests, huge peaks and chirping birds, one finds utmost solace and experiences surreal bliss at Kothaligad. As peth is the base village, many recall Kothaligad as peth fort. Being a medium grade trek, any average trekker can conquer the peak. There’s a stair route towards the summit, which adds up to the thrill. On reaching the top, witness a flat floor and well-sculpted pillars that are the key attraction of the cave. Spending time up there with your friends and travel buddies will indeed add up to the thrill.

    04.00 am: Reach Pethechi wadi and rest

    06.30 am: Start Trek to Kothaligad Top

    07:30 am: Reach Top and Explore

    09.30 am: Start descending

    1.00 pm: Reach base and , Post Lunch Leave for Karjat

    02.30 pm: Reach Karjat & Board Train

    05.00 pm: Reach Mumbai

    Consuming liquor or any kind of Alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of substance that’s illegal is not allowed. Smoking is strictly not allowed. Anybody found smoking or consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without refund.

    Fitness & Health – Though trekking is a fun-filled activity, it demands good amount of physical fitness. If you are under medication, please carry your medicines. During the trek, leaders will have over the counter medication for temporary treatment, so do give a heads up to them if you need any medical assistance.
