Overview

A trip from Mumbai to Saputara is one of the best short monsoon getaways from the city. Located in the lush Western Ghats, Saputara transforms into a misty, green retreat during the rainy season—perfect for a quick escape from urban chaos.

This itinerary is designed as an overnight journey, where you leave Mumbai late at night and arrive early morning to make the most of your time in the hills. Over 2–3 days, you’ll experience fog-covered viewpoints, serene lakes, ropeway rides through clouds, and nearby waterfalls in full flow.

Saputara itself is relatively less crowded compared to other hill stations, making it ideal for a peaceful, slow-paced trip.

Overall, this trip combines:

  • A comfortable overnight road journey
