South Korea Backpacking Tour
South Korea offers a vibrant blend of tradition and modernity, with bustling cities and serene landscapes dotted with ancient temples. From the pulsating energy of K-pop and BTS to the tranquil beauty of historic palaces, it's a country that invites travelers to explore its unique charm.
Day 1 : Late night to Seol
Late night flight from India. Usually it takes 11-16 hrs flight time including a layover.
Day 2 : Reach Seol
Reach Incheon Airport in the late afternoon. It will take 2 hours to complete immigration and reach Seoul by express train. We would prefer to completely rest tonight to gear up for an exciting trip.
Day 3 : K-Drama locations in the city
In the morning, we will go to the N Seoul Tower and Love Locks of Namsan.
In the afternoon we will visit the cultural center of the city i.e. Gyeongbokgung Palace. Later, we will hangout at the Instagram location of the city i.e. Yeouido Park
At night we will roam the streets of Hongdae, famous for shopping, clubs and cuisines.
Day 4 : Palaces and Fortresses
In the morning, we will travel from Seoul to Gyeongju town by bus or train. Located in South-East of Korea, it is also known as ‘the museum without walls’.
In the late afternoon, we will visit the Donggung Palace and the Wolji Pond.
At night, we can sip Korea’s iconic Andong Soju, a smooth and distinctive rice liquor
Day 5 : Travel South
In the morning, we can visit the museums and temples of Gyeongju. You can also try the traditional attire of Korea.
Later, we will travel from Gyeongju to Busan by KTX train and then board the overnight ship from Busan port. The ship is a unique experience while crossing the roaring Yellow sea
Day 6 : Jeju Island Tour
06:00 - Watch the sunrise while approaching Jeju, touted as the “Hawaii of South Korea”.
In the morning, we can go to Jeongbang falls where water pours directly into the sea. Later we will do a short hike to Seongsan Ilchulbong on the eastern part of the Island.
In the evening, we will visit Jeju Nanta, famous for its peculiar performance combining music, acrobatics, martial arts, and culinary.
Day 7 : Adventures of Jeju; Back to Seoul
In the morning we will visit Manjanggul Cave which is one of the longest lava tunnels in the world.
Take a late afternoon flight from Jeju to Seoul.
At night, we can do final shopping from the night markets of Myeongdong, which is open for 24 hours.
Day 8 : Back to India
Trip ends with happy memories. You can take return flights to your cities as per your convenience.
