Kalu Waterfall: The highest waterfall in Malshej Ghat, Kalu Waterfall stands over 1200 feet tall and cascades down in five segments. It originates from the Harishchandragad mountains and flows through Khireshwar village. This stunning natural wonder is best viewed via drone cameras due to its impressive height.
Location: Situated in the picturesque Malshej Ghat, Kalu Waterfall offers breathtaking landscapes and lush greenery.
Trekking Adventure: The trek to Kalu Waterfall is a 2-kilometer journey that offers an up-close encounter with this massive waterfall. Additionally, there is another stunning waterfall hidden in a gorge nearby.
Day 0:
- 10:45 pm: Meet at Borivali National Park main gate.
- 11:00 pm: Depart for the trek.
- 11:30 pm: Pick up at Andheri WEH.
- 11:45 pm: Pick up at Kalanagar bus stop, Bandra.
- 12:00 am: Pick up at Sion station circle.
- 12:10 am: Amar Mahal, Ghatkopar.
- 12:45 am: Pick up at Teen Hath Naka, Thane.
- 01:10 am: Pick up at Kalyan Bypass.
Day 1:
- 04:30 am: Arrive at the base village and rest on the bus.
- 06:00 am: Freshen up and have breakfast.
- 07:00 am: Start the trek towards the viewpoint.
- 08:30 am: Reach the viewpoint and enjoy the scenery.
- 09:30 am: Begin the return trek to the base.
- 11:00 am: Arrive at the base village.
- 12:00 pm: Enjoy a local vegetarian lunch.
- 01:00 pm: Start the return journey to Mumbai.
- 07:00 pm: Approximate arrival in Mumbai.
