  • Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar – Pahalgam

    • The trip begins from Srinagar. Our team will assist you at the Srinagar airport and transfer you to the Pahalgam hotel.
    • Pahalgam is also known as the “Valley of Shephards” and is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnaag Lake.
    • Pahalgam is located at a distance of 100 km from Srinagar with a travel time of approximately 3 hours. Pahalgam is a must-visit for its awe-inspiring vistas, greenery and dense forests.
    • On our journey towards the hotel, we will pass through the enchanting Golden land of Kashmir that is the “Saffron Fields”.
    • On our way, we will visit the Awantipora ruins, which is an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Shiva. It was built by King Awantivarman. The temple is also known as The Avantiswami temple and is located on the banks of river Jhelum.
    • After checking into our hotel in Pahalgam we will head out to explore Pahalgam and the famous Lidder River.
    • In the evening you can rest for some time in leisure.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at Pahalgam hote.

    Day 2: Exploring Pahalgam Valley

    • After a wholesome breakfast, we will proceed for an excursion to Chandanwarri. Chandanwari is the starting point for Amarnath Yatra.
    • On our way to Chandanwari, we will visit the famous Betaab valley.
    • Initially, known as Hajan valley, Betaab valley received its name from the Bollywood movie “Betaab” as certain shots of the movie were shot here.
    • After the movie, the Betaab valley became a popular tourist spot.
    • Our next stop is at Aru valley. Aru is small village located in Anantnag District and 11 km upstream from Lidder River.The village is situated in a beautiful locality with many campsites. The village also serves as the starting point for treks to Kolahoi glacier.
    • Our excursion ends here.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at Pahalgam hotel.

    Day 3: Pahalgam – Srinagar Local Sightseeing

    • Begin your day with a breakfast and pack your bags to visit Srinagar, “The true beauty of Kashmir” again!
    • After check out, we will get going for a quick two and half hour road journey to Srinagar from Pahalgam.
    • In Srinagar, we will visit the famous Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and the Chesham Shahi Garden. The Mughal Garden is a magnificent garden to must visit. These gardens are also a popular picnic spot today.
    • After the garden visit, we will visit the Hazartbal Shrine which is located along the banks of Dal Lake.
    • Next, we will visit the Shankracharya Temple which is situated on the highest hill of Srinagar. You can enjoy the breath-taking views from the top and also witness river Jhelum.
    • After sightseeing, we will reach our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 4: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar

    • Brace yourself for a day full of thrilling activities and spectacular views of the “Meadow of Gold: - Sonamarg.
    • Sonamarg is located at an altitude of 2,743m above sea level and is the last stop in Kashmir. Sonamarg is called as the gateway to Ladakh. The Sindh River in Srinagar is a popular fishing spot during summer
    • Sonamarg also serves as a base point for many exciting treks.
    • If you wish to get a closer view of the snow-capped mountains and glaciers, you can hire a pony ride to Thajiwas glacier and also enjoy a few snow activities around. *Please note, the charges for pony ride and activities are not included in the tour package*.
    • After around 6 pm, we will return to our hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 5: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

    • After a scrumptious breakfast meal, we will leave for Gulmarg which is also known as “Meadow of Flowers” is about 2 hours away from Srinagar by road.
    • Gulmarg is famous for its European surroundings, rich flora and fauna, the 18-hole Golf Course and pristine mountain views.
    • Gulmarg houses the world’s highest and Asia’s longest cable car known as The Gandola Cable Car Ride.
    • At your own cost, you can bask in the stunning views from the cable ride to Kongdoori and Apharwat. Additionally, you can also indulge in activities such as horse riding, shopping and photography at the beautiful snow point.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar hotel.

    Day 6: Srinagar – Doodhpathri – Srinagar

    • Located at a distance of approximately 1.5 hours from Srinagar, Doodhpathri is known as “The Valley of Milk”.
    • The legends say that the revered saint of Kashmir, Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani prayed here in search of water. Once he pricked the ground with a stick for water, milk came out.
    • In Doodhpathri you will be treated by mesmerising views of the Pir Panjal Range and lush green meadows.
    • We will also visit the Doodh Ganga and return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 7: Departure – Airport Drop

    • After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel in Srinagar.
    • If time permits, based on the scheduled departure timings, we will visit the market of Srinagar to buy the local handicrafts and popular local items like shawls, jackets, carpets and much more. You can also carry back some souvenirs.
    • We will drop you at the airport.
    • From here you head back to your home with beautiful memories of the mountains.
