Rann of Kutch Tour from Mumbai

Day 1: Departure from Mumbai

  • 02:30 PM : Meet the Trikon Team at Dadar Terminus to board SAYAJINAGRI EXP (20907) to Bhuj.

Day 2: Bhuj – Road to Heaven – Hodka – White Desert

  • 07:00 AM: Arrive in Bhuj, have breakfast, and travel towards the Road to Heaven. (Will also Visit Kalo Dungar if there is no traffic and if time permits)
  • 01:00 PM: Check in at the hotel, freshen up, and have lunch.
  • Afternoon: Visit the White Desert and experience a breathtaking sunset. Enjoy the magical ambiance of the White Desert under the full moon. Participate in Rann Utsav activities, savor local delicacies, try camel riding, and watch live performances (subject to availability). Return to the hotel to relax. If permits allow, revisit the White Rann at midnight for a full moon special view.

Day 3: Bhuj Sightseeing

Day 4: Arrival in Mumbai

  • 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM: Arrive back in Mumbai.

P.S: Standard check-in time at the hotel is 11 am. You may freshen up on the train itself and can take a bath after checking in the hotel.

Additional Information
  • Participants must carry cash in order to survive and buy anything at Rann. Except for high-end luxury hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops, plastic money such as credit and debit cards are not accepted throughout Rann.
  • ATMs are common only in Bhuj, and beyond that, finding an ATM is difficult.
  • Avoid wearing precious jewelry, as TTRIKON won’t be responsible for any losses.
  • Please ensure you report to the start location as per the itinerary. No refunds will be entertained by TTRIKON. Consult your TTRIKON buddy in advance in case of any changes.
  • Consuming liquor or any kind of alcoholic substance is prohibited. Carrying any kind of illegal substance is not allowed. Anybody found consuming alcoholic drinks will be expelled from the event without a refund.
FAQs

I have made the payment online, what will we get further details?

Once you make the payment, you will receive a confirmation of partial payment via email. 3-5 days before the departure date, a WhatsApp group will be created where all important details will be shared. A link for the balance payment will be sent one week before the departure date.

What are the stay arrangements on the tour?

Accommodation on this trip will be in traditional Kutchi-style homes called 'Bhunga', on a triple/quad sharing basis. Twin sharing is also available at an additional cost.

What will be the group size? What will be the male-female ratio?

The group size may vary from 15-25 people. Our tours generally have 60-70% female participants, as many solo females join us. The age group typically ranges from 25 to 45 years.

Is it preferable for solo travelers to join this trip?

Absolutely! Our tours are curated to provide a comfortable and fun experience for solo travelers. Many solo travelers, including solo females, join our tours. Accommodation will be provided on a gender-based triple/quad sharing basis.

What will be the food arrangements on the tour?

All vegetarian meals will be provided, starting from Day 1 Breakfast to Day 2 Lunch. Traditional Gujarati and Kutchi-style meals will be served throughout the tour.

What will be the mode of transport?

Depending on the group size, we will use either a Tempo Traveler or a Mini Bus for local transfers during the tour.

What are the important things to carry?

Make sure to wear bright/vibrant clothes to get the best photographs at White Rann. It’s also recommended to wear shoes while walking on the Rann (salt desert), as walking barefoot may cause irritation. Shoes may get dirty during the walk, so be prepared. Carry blankets/shawls for the train journey and warm clothes for the night, as temperatures drop after sunset. Don’t forget your personal medicines if required.

What activities can we do at White Rann?

At White Rann, you can enjoy activities such as Camel rides, Camel carts, and Paramotoring for an exciting experience.

Can we see the Full Moon light reflection at White Rann?

When booking the trip, please confirm the dates for the Full Moon with us. Due to bright lighting around the Rann, the Full Moon glow has become slightly reduced in recent times.

Train travel food is not included in the package, how can we arrange that?

Food for train travel is not included in the package. However, you can order meals on the train through IRCTC. Once we share the tickets with the group, you can use the PNR to book your meals through multiple apps.
